The sea is the main wealth for Port-En-Bessin. It allows the boats to catch varied kinds of fish : scallops, crabs, cuttlefish, calamaries, sole, plaice, sea bream etc... more than 30 varieties of fishes and shellfishes are unloaded every day. It is like a palette of colours and flavours wich is sold all over France and Europe. In Normandy, the sea is generous. This area also depends on a world famous cooking tradition (see our heading " Useful addresses " and "Tourism Informations")
